New Haul (Spoiled by Wet n Wild)

Hello lovelies!

I have a lovely day today. My mother-in-law took me to CVS this morning to check out these pretty polishes that I have on my stash now. I can't wait to wear them all already. And finally I also got Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat which is amazing. So I just wanna share you guys what I have bought for today.

So far my favorite is Paying With Platinum and Plenty Of Fish In The Sea. I'll be swatching them later on to give you guys some reviews.

Sorry I'm not writing as much coz I think I don't really have to say a lot. So let me know which of these polishes you like base on color and name. I will be glad to hear your thoughts.

See you next time sweeties ^_^...

My First Gradient

How are you guys doing today? Today my post is about my first gradient mani which it turned out to be pretty, the gradient wasn't really that perfect but not bad either, but I think I pulled it off with a little help of the holo foil strip that I bought when I was still in the Philippines. I will tell you more about it, as we go along.

Okay so first things first, my base color and gosh I want to smack myself from taking photos of this color, it's a Hot Neon Pink polish from Ruby Kisses HD it's just so hard to photograph using my iPhone. I really need to get a good camera one day. So anyway, I tried really hard to get good photos but I don't think the photos below are really true to color. Let me show you what I'm talking about.

2 coats

So then, I decided to make a gradient mani instead. I used OPI Did It On Em to achieve the gradient  look over my base color. I kind of managed to execute the idea, however it wasn't really successful I don't know, I just let you be the judge. But there's something extra, to make the look pretty special I remember that I have stuff that I use for scrapbooking and I thought it would be cool to apply it on my nails even though they're not intended for nail art but I did an experiment somehow.

So that 's my finish mani right there. Well I think you know that it's self-explanatory how I did the whole thing right? Well guys what do you think of this mani? Do you want to try to use a scrapbooking material as nail art? Share me your thoughts and if did this mani inspired you somehow. Thanks for reading this post.

Retro Green + Holo Pinky Glitter

Hello guys!

I'm excited to share with you my mani for today. I guess I won't be writing as much coz I feel kinda lazy :P

I used:

Iriscolor Pinky Glitter & Kleancolor Retro Green

So first up my base color, Kleancolor's Retro Green and I have to say I really had a hard time taking pictures just to get the shade of green from this one. It always look navy blue on the pictures but anyway, it is a dark blue green color and when it hits the light you can see the dark green shimmer. I guess you know what I'm talking about right. And what I really love about this polish, it is a one-coat wonder.

Then I layered it with Pinky Glitter, and I must tell you this polish surprised me. I really love the holo effect it is perfect with the base color that I picked. Let me show you with the pictures below.

This is so far my favorite mani that I did. What do you think guys? Love it or hate it? Let me know.

Pink Friday + Frenzy

everyone, I'm back! I was suppose to post this yesterday but I wasn't feeling well and I'm glad I feel better today. I really like the weather since yesterday it's cooler than the usual I love summer but I don't like when it gets really hot. Anyway my mani that I did yesterday is a free-hand funky french mani.

What I used:

Base Color - OPI Pink Friday
French Tip - Iriscolors Frenzy
OPI Pink Friday & Iriscolors Frenzy

I really love Pink Friday the color is so sweet I love that it is creme. OPI has a great formula, I'm not a fan of the brush though since I don't have a flat nail bed or I guess I need more practice using their wide flat brush. And for Frenzy I love the pink and blue glitter so cute but I don't like this brand at all because the base is so thick and it has a horrible smell, I'm not going to buy this brand ever again.

Well I might wear this mani for two days or more it depends, sometimes I get lazy doing my nails. What do you think of the mani? I would love to hear from you and thanks for reading my post, until next time. Love y'all!

Kleancolor's Metallic Mango & Pastel Yellow

I really suck doing introductions, so finally today I'm posting my first two random swatches for Kleancolor's Metallic Mango & Pastel Yellow which I mentioned on my first ever blog post.

First I have here Metallic Mango, a shimmery copper orange with a foil effect. At first I didn't really liked it but when I noticed the effect when the light hits my nails it gave a dramatic glow to the color so I realized that it is a beauty after all and I should say this color is perfect for fall/autumn. If I have to rate this polish from 1-5, I'd say 4. I love the formula and the fact that with one coat it is already opaque the only downside about this brand is the odor, I don't like the way it smells so that's why I'd give it 4 out of 5.

I applied 2 coats of Metallic Mango

And then I have the Pastel yellow which is basically a pretty light yellow creme polish. I really love this color, it is sweet, perfect for the summer and also pastel is really trendy nowadays. The only problem that I have is I don't know if it's the formula or my application? That I have to apply 3 coats and still have visible nail lines but despite that I still love the color. I will rate this polish 4 out of 5 because of the odor.

I applied 3 coats of Pastel Yellow

So guys let me know your thoughts about my swatches today. Would you wear these colors?
